Friends of the BPL Bake Sale

WE NEED BAKERS! Please consider showing off your culinary skills for us! Cookies, brownies and breads are always a big hit! Try to avoid frosting and anything that requires refrigeration (it can get hot under the tent). The baked goods need to be individually bagged and labeled with the ingredients. Also needed: cases of bottled water and fruits (apples and bananas work best because they are easy to walk with). Please visit or call the library to sign up. Drop off will be on Thursday September 7th at the library from 5-6:00 or either day under the tent. Please contact us if these days/times don’t work and we will work something out. Thanks again for your continued support!

Bakers, Bakers, Bakers!

We need you! Can you bake, bag and label (with ingredients list) goodies for the Friends of the Brimfield Public Library’s May bake sale? The baked goods are needed May 11, 12 & 13th. Please let us know if you can help out. There is a sign up sheet at the library or you can tell us on Facebook. Cookies, breads, pies, and bars are the best movers. Sculpting With Wool – WAITLIST ONLY

Join Tracy for a 1.5 hour demonstration of needle felting on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 6-7:30pm. Designed to demystify the process of 3-D needle felting and to show how, with a few basic materials, anyone can create sculptures from wool.

This is an adult program. The demonstration will show how to make a felted animal from a concept drawing through to a completed sculpture. At the end of the demo participants will have the chance to make a small ornament to take home. Just as an FYI: barbed needles are used during the process so your fingers may get jabbed! You might want to bring a Band-Aid or two!

This program is sponsored by the Brimfield Cultural Council, and space is limited to 12 participants and is currently full. Call the library at 245-3518 to be added to the wait list.
