Virtual Cooking Program with the Food Explorers

Join Food Explorers for two different virtual cooking events on March 13th and March 20th! On March 13th, learn to make a homemade S’mores Pie! This event is being held on Monday, March 13th at 6pm. You’ll be making your crust, filling and topping all by yourself and have a delicious dessert to serve your family. You’ll need an electric mixer and the following ingredients: 1 box graham crackers, 2 sticks butter, 1 package Jello Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix, 3 cups milk, 1 pint heavy cream, 1/4 cup powdered sugar and optional mini marshmallows and vanilla extract.

On March 20th, learn to make no-bake Taco Pizzas! This event is being held on Monday, March 20th at 7pm. These easy and delicious mini pizzas make the perfect after school snack or quick dinner. You’ll need the following ingredients: round naan bread (ex. stonefire brand) and any of the following optional ingredients: 1 can refried beans, 1 bunch cilantro, 1 jar salsa, 1 pepper, 1 red onion, 1 bag shredded Mexican cheese, 8oz sour cream, 1 lime, 1 avocado, 1 pint cherry tomatoes, romaine lettuce and/or 1 can beans. These pizzas are designed to be no-bake however they could be gently heated in the oven to be served warm.

These classes will be conducted using Zoom, are for children ages 7+, and is limited to 10 families. Please call 413-245-3518 or email the library at brimfieldlibraryrequests@gmail.com to sign-up. Once your family has signed up we will email you the zoom link.
