Gingerbread Story Hour

Join us for a Gingerbread Story Hour over winter break on Wednesday, December 28th from 2-3pm. We will be reading gingerbread books and decorating gingerbread cookies. This event is for ages 10 and under. Space is limited, so reserve a spot during your next visit to the library or contact us!

Best Business Raffle

business-raffle1It’s raffle time again at the Brimfield Library! From October 27th – December 3rd, we will be having our Best Business Raffle. Local businesses have donated beautiful themed baskets and gift cards. Tickets are 1 for $1 or 7 for $5 and the drawing is being held on Saturday December 3rd. Help us reach our goal by showing your support today!

Adult Coloring Book Party

Join us for a relaxing evening of adult coloring on Tuesday, November 29th from 6:30 – 7:30pm. Bring your own supplies or use the ones that the library has on hand. Hot apple cider and cookies will be served. Grab your best friend, take time out for YOU and come relax while coloring! Sign-up is required either on Facebook or in the library.

2nd Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest

We are looking for families to participate in our 2nd annual pumpkin decorating contest. Buy a pumpkin, carve it, paint it, dress it up like your favorite cartoon character… whatever you like, the possibilities are endless! Drop off your completed pumpkin to the library anytime between Saturday October 22nd and Wednesday October 26th. A prize will be awarded for the winning pumpkin. Voting takes place on Thursday October 27th at Harvest Fest. You don’t need to be present to win.

Victorian Tea Party – September 30th

The Brimfield Library and the Brimfield Senior Center are coming together to host a very special event in the Town Hall, 21 Main St on Friday, September 30th from 4pm-5:30pm. Tea, sandwiches, scones, and other delectable goodies will be served by the Friends of the Brimfield Senior Center and Mrs. Gordon, a middle class housewife from 1908, will join us and regale us with stories from her time. Bring your favorite tea cup or tea set if you’d like and feel free to dress in the Victorian Style. Children over 10 are welcome.

Cost for this event is $5.00 per person. Reservations must be made by Monday, September 26th by calling 413-245-7253 or the library at 413-245-3518. All proceeds from this event are being split between the Friends of the Brimfield Senior Center and the Friends of the Brimfield Public Library, Inc. Hope you can make it!

Story Hour With Bonnie – September 28th

On Wednesday, September 28th from 4:15pm – 5pm, the library will be hosting a Fall-themed Story Hour with Bonnie! Come in to hear a story and work on a craft. Space is limited – you can sign up at the library, or call or e-mail us to sign up. For ages 2-10.

Mystery Buffs Book Club

Are you a mystery buff? Our Mystery Buffs Book Club is always looking for new members! We will be discussing our latest mystery discoveries and our favorite authors. We welcome you to join us in the Murder, Mayhem, and Crazy conversations!!
